Dashboard Overview

Dashboard Overview

Understand the Align dashboard layout and how to navigate between panels.

Three-Panel Layout

The Align dashboard uses a three-panel layout designed for efficient SEO workflows. Each panel serves a distinct purpose, and they work together so you can analyze, decide, and act without switching between pages.

  • Left panel (18% width) — Site selector, scan history, repository status, and a list of your pull requests.
  • Center panel (60% width) — The main analysis area with tabbed views for all scan results and data.
  • Right panel (22% width) — Issue selection, weekly action plan, and the PR creation controls.

The left panel lets you switch context (which site and scan you're looking at), the center panel displays the data, and the right panel lets you take action on what you see.

Mobile Layout

On smaller screens, the three-panel layout collapses into a stacked tab interface. You'll see three top-level tabs:

  • Analysis — Contains all the scan result tabs from the center panel.
  • Action — Issue selection, weekly plan, and PR creation from the right panel.
  • History — Site selector, scan history, and PR list from the left panel.
Note
The dashboard is fully responsive. All features available on desktop are accessible on mobile — the layout simply reorganizes to fit your screen.

Site Selector

The site selector in the left panel is your starting point. It groups your sites into two categories:

  • Your Sites — Websites you've added to your account.
  • Demo Sites — Pre-loaded example sites you can explore to learn the platform without adding your own.

Click any site to load its most recent scan data into the center panel. Below the site selector, you'll see the scan history for the selected site, the linked repository status, and a list of any PRs that have been created.

Analysis Tabs

The center panel contains ten analysis tabs, each focused on a different aspect of your site's optimization:

  • SEO X-Ray — Title tags, meta descriptions, OG tags, headings, and images.
  • Schema — JSON-LD structured data detection and generation.
  • AI Readiness — Checks for llms.txt, robots.txt rules, and metadata quality.
  • Authority — Topical authority mapping with coverage and gap analysis.
  • Competitors — Side-by-side comparison with competitor sites.
  • Rankings — Keyword position tracking over time.
  • Keyword Spy — Cross-site keyword comparison showing wins, losses, and opportunities.
  • GEO — Generative Engine Optimization score across AI platforms.
  • Growth — Score trends, timeline events, and weekly snapshots.
  • Overview — A summary view of your overall SEO and GEO health.
Tip
You can use keyboard shortcuts or click the tab headings to quickly switch between analysis views.

Action Panel

The right panel is where analysis turns into action. It contains three key areas:

  • Issue selection — Browse fixable issues grouped by category. Check the ones you want Align to resolve.
  • Safety score — Each issue displays a confidence score so you know how safe the proposed fix is before committing.
  • Create PR button — Once you've selected issues, click Create PR to generate a pull request on your linked GitHub repository.

The action panel updates dynamically based on which analysis tab you're viewing, showing only the relevant fixable issues.
