Growth Analytics
Track SEO and GEO score trends, view timeline events, and monitor weekly snapshots of your progress.
What Growth Analytics Tracks
Growth Analytics gives you a long-term view of how your site's search performance is changing. Instead of looking at a single scan result, you can see trends over days, weeks, and months to understand whether your optimization efforts are paying off.
Growth Analytics tracks:
- SEO score trends — How your overall SEO score changes over time after scans and PR merges.
- GEO score trends — How your Generative Engine Optimization score evolves as you improve AI readiness.
- PR merges — When pull requests are merged and their effect on your scores.
- Keyword improvements — Keywords that moved up in ranking after optimization changes.
Growth Chart
The growth chart is an interactive visualization that plots your SEO and GEO scores over time. Both score lines are displayed on the same chart so you can see how they correlate.
Use the date range selector to adjust the time window. Available ranges:
- 7 days — See daily changes from the past week.
- 30 days — The default view, showing a full month of data.
- 60 days — A wider window useful for tracking the impact of larger campaigns.
- 90 days — The longest range, ideal for quarterly reviews.
Hover over any data point to see the exact score value and the date it was recorded. Events like PR merges and scans are marked on the chart timeline.
Weekly Snapshots
Snapshots capture a daily record of your site's health. Each snapshot includes:
- SEO score — Your overall score at that point in time.
- GEO score — Your AI optimization score at that point in time.
- Issues found — The number of open issues detected in the most recent scan.
- Issues fixed — The number of issues resolved since the previous snapshot.
Timeline Events
The timeline is a chronological feed of everything that happened on your site. Events appear in reverse chronological order, with the most recent at the top. Event types include:
- Scan completed — A scan finished and new results are available.
- PR merged — A pull request created by Align was merged on GitHub.
- Alert triggered — A regression alert was fired due to a score drop or issue reappearance.
Each event links to the relevant detail view — click a scan event to see results, a PR event to view the pull request, or an alert event to investigate the regression.
Key Metrics
The top of the Growth tab displays four summary metric cards that give you a quick pulse on progress:
- SEO score change — The net change in your SEO score over the last 30 days, shown as a positive or negative delta.
- GEO score change — The net change in your GEO score over the last 30 days.
- PRs merged — The total number of Align-created pull requests merged in the last 30 days.
- Keywords improved — The number of tracked keywords that moved up in ranking over the last 30 days.
PR Impact
The PR Impact section shows how individual merged pull requests have affected your scores. For each PR, you can see:
- The PR title and link to GitHub
- The date it was merged
- The SEO score before and after the merge, displayed as a delta (e.g.,
+4or-1) - Which issues the PR was intended to fix
This helps you understand which types of fixes deliver the most value. Metadata fixes might yield small, consistent gains, while schema additions can sometimes produce larger jumps.
Plan Requirement
Growth Analytics requires a Pro plan or above. On the Free plan, the Growth tab is visible but displays a prompt to upgrade. Pro users get full access to the growth chart, snapshots, timeline, key metrics, and PR impact data.
For more details on what each plan includes, see the Plans & Pricing page.
