Weekly Plan

The Weekly Plan is an AI-generated set of action items customized for your site each week. Instead of manually reviewing scan results and deciding what to fix next, Align analyzes your latest data and creates a prioritized list of the highest-impact improvements you can make.

Each plan is generated based on your most recent scan data, competitor landscape, and keyword performance. The result is a focused, actionable list that tells you exactly what to work on this week.

Each Weekly Plan contains a mix of item types based on what your site needs most:

• Fix PRs — Pull request suggestions for SEO issues found in your latest scan. These are ready-to-create PRs that address specific problems like missing meta descriptions, broken schema, or incomplete OG tags.
• Content Briefs — Recommendations for new content to fill topic gaps identified by the Authority Map. Each brief includes a suggested topic, target keywords, and an outline to help you create content that strengthens your topical authority.
• Internal Links — Suggestions for internal linking improvements between your existing pages. Good internal linking helps search engines understand your site structure and distributes authority across pages.

Items in the Weekly Plan are ranked by their potential impact on your SEO and GEO scores. Align considers several factors when ordering items:

• The severity of the issue (critical issues rank higher)
• The estimated score improvement if the item is resolved
• How many pages are affected by the issue
• Whether the fix is automated (PR items) or requires manual work (content briefs)

The highest-priority items appear at the top of the list. Items that can be resolved with a single PR click are typically ranked above items that require manual content creation.

For Fix PR items, you can create a pull request directly from the plan. Click the create button next to any Fix PR item, and Align will generate a pull request on your linked GitHub repository with the suggested changes.

This works the same as creating a PR from the main action panel — you can preview the diff before committing, and the PR will appear on GitHub with a detailed description of the changes.

For Content Briefs and Internal Link items, clicking the item expands it to show the full recommendation and guidance for manual implementation.

The Weekly Plan regenerates automatically every week based on your latest scan data. Each Monday, Align re-analyzes your site and creates a fresh set of action items.

If you complete all items before the week ends, the plan will show a completion state. Items that you have already addressed (via merged PRs or resolved scans) are automatically removed from future plans.

To get the most accurate plan, make sure you run scans regularly. The plan is only as good as the data it's based on.

The Weekly Plan requires an Agency plan ($149/mo). This feature is not available on the Free or Pro plans.

Agency plan subscribers get unlimited Weekly Plans across all their sites, along with other advanced features like regression alerts and unlimited PR creation.
